Jowar Dosa - Breakfast/Snack Recipe






Ingredients:

Jowar flour
Rice Flour
Salt
Water
oil

Process:

Step 1: Take a bowl add Jowar flour, Rice flour in equal quantities.
Step 2: Add salt as per taste.
Step 3: Add water and mix well and make sure that there are no lumps in the batter.
Step 4: The consistency of the batter should be little bit thin when compared to our regular Dosa batter.
Step 5: Dosa Tawa and pour the Batter ( since the batter is in water consistency no need to follow regular dosa step) and add some drops of oil on top of it, once it’s done turn the other side.
Step 6: Plate it and have it as a snack or breakfast.

You can serve with any kind of chutney it tastes good.

Green chili Egg Fry/Green chili scrambled Egg: Ingredients: Eggs - 4 Green chilies – 4 to 5 Cumin Seeds – ½ tea spoon Ginger and garlic paste – 1 tea spoon Oil - 3 to 4 tea spoons Salt – as per taste   Turmeric – ½ tea spoon Procedure: Step 1: Add green chilies to the blender and make into a rough paste. Step 2: Place a pan on stove add 3 to 4 tea spoons of oil and add cumin seeds and let it pop. Step 3: Now add ginger garlic paste and sauté it for a min. Step 4: Once it’s done add green chili paste and sauté it for 4 to 5 minutes then add turmeric and salt. Step 5: Now beat the eggs and add it to the pan and stir them. Let it cook for 5 to 10 minutes or when you feel it’s done off the stove and plate it. Tip: While preparing green chili paste add a pinch of salt so that it doesn’t turn black in color.

Tomato Chutney/Green Chili Tomato Chutney:

Tomato Chutney/Green Chili Tomato Chutney: Ingredients: Tomatoes – 6 Green Chilies – 8 to 10 Garlic Cloves – 5 Tamarind – lemon size Curry leaves – few (Optional) Cumin seeds – ½ tea spoon Oil Salt Turmeric powder Process: Step 1: Place a kadai on Stove and 2 tea spoons of oil. Step 2: Once heated add green chilies, cumin seeds and saute them for 2 minutes. Step 3: Add chopped tomatoes give a mix and let it cook for 5 minutes with lid closed. Step 4: After 5 minutes add tamarind curry leaves and cook them for 5 more minutes without placing the lid. Step 5: After 5 minutes off the stove and a pinch of turmeric and salt as per taste. Step 6: once its cooled place them in a grinder,add garlic and grind them to form a paste. Step 7: Plate them and enjoy this chutney with rice and chapathi’s.
